Ten Turkeys

So, I was walking into work today and saw ten turkeys in the parking lot. They were just happily pecking away at the grass. Does that seem odd to anyone else? Don't they know that it is November, the only time of the year when people eat turkey? I am tempted to try and grab one to teach them a lesson.
